USB TV Tuner Sticks
EyeTV (Apple)
So whether you watch it on the computer or TV, most new
computers come with software to record your shows, pause and
rewind. Another option which I have on my Apple computer is
EyeTV. This device is a hardware and software device used
in conjunction with your antenna. The hardware will attach to
your coaxial cable from you antenna to your computer. The
software that comes with the hardware is much like a DVR. You
can program the software to record your favorite tv episodes as
well as pause and rewind live shows. If your computer is next
or near your TV, you can connect your computer to your TV using
an S-Video cable if it is an analog TV or any type of digital
cable for your HDTV.

This HDTV tuner stick I use for my
Windows computer which is connected to my
analog TV via S-Cable. This product comes
with TotalMedia 3.5, cables and a remote.
This product works great for viewing local
TV from you antenna on your PC as well as TV
(works with cable as well).
The tuner stick simply connects to your
coaxial cable coming from your antenna or
cable. The other side plugs in to your
USB on your computer. It is just that
easy.
This system was easy to set-up and I was
watching TV on my computer in as little as 5
minutes. The remote, which needs to have a
clear path to the USB device, worked great with
no problems. If you need to buy a TV
tuner card, for only $59.95, I would buy this
instead and then you can move it to another
desktop or laptop with ease.

Recommendation
This is probalby my favorite toy at the current
moment. Since we have our computer connected to our
analog TV, we watch local TV on our analog TV with this
device. I should not that this device can also connect to
your TV directly with the included cables. So, if you are
looking for the best and cheepest way to watch local TV on your
computer or TV, record TV, and pause live TV, this device is
for you.
