OTA (Over the Air) DVR Devices

  

DVR Hardware

The hardware method deals with using a computer however, you can either watch your tv programs on your computer or analog or HDTV. You will also need some sort of antenna to pick up you local channels. If you would like to connect your computer to the TV, like we currently do, contact me and I will walk you through it. See the hardware section on the recommended computer devices to connect to you TV.

Since the beginning of TiVO, DVR has become available to most cable and dish subscribers and giving us the convininece of watching our shows when we want. This convenience has also kept many people from canceling their dish or cable because of the loss of this nice device. Well I am here to say you worries are over.

PC to TV DVR

There are a few new devices and more on the way which stream what is on your PC to your TV. Now why is this being mentioned here? These devices have the capabilites of recording live TV on your computer and stream it to your TV. Now before you go any further, you must have a TV tuner card installed on your computer. You would connect you coaxial cable coming from your antenna to this TV tuner card. Click here for these devices.

  

 

Internet TV

The internet provides several options on watching network and some cable channels. Most of the TV episodes are current and available any time after the episode has aired at its regular time. This eliminates the need for the DVR. However, you must have a computer. See the hardware section for more information on using a computer and other devices to watch free TV and having the capabilities of watching your show when you want.
